3 reviews for ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero AM4 AMD X370 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

  1. 4 out of 5

    :

Using Cooler Master MasterLiquid 120 All-in-one CPU Liquid Cooler with Ryzen 1700 CPU and 32GB hyper X ram overclocked to 2400MHZ. Upated to bios 1002 by loading CH6.CAP file into USB thumbdrive and going directly into BIOS. Was afraid to plug into back USB and press that bios flashback button on account seems too gimmicky for me. Board started just fine with the previous bios 902. Asus AI software is actually quite nice to use (I thought it would be just bloatware but I was wrong).

The last Asus board I had was the MVP wifi deluxe for the AM2 platform. Have bought 6 or 7 boards since then and I am back to Asus.

  2. 5 out of 5

    :

This was my first AMD build ever, and I have to say, it wasn’t that different from all the Intel builds I’ve done, except I got a 8 CPU for half the price, which is pretty sweet. The quality I usually get from ASUS ROG Intel boards is there. Update the BIOS when you get it, as that’ll add stability, and update the BIOS often, as Ryzen still have some bugs to work out. Worth the ever dime though, especially since I have a lot more dimes in my pocket now.

  3. 5 out of 5

    :

I would deffinitly recommend to anyone going for a Ryzen 7 CPU.
