I should say when I’m talking about 4K, in my situation I’m using a 4k DSR supersample in some games (DCS in particular, shout out to my fellow flight simmers who struggle with the godawful view distances in DCS, 4K DSR will help you out big time). I’ll be replacing my 23″ HD monitor with one of those sweet 34″ 100 Hz curved ultrawides soon, with my experience thus far I have full confidence that this card will tackle ultrawide 2K with ease.

For only ~$50 more I’d say it’s definitely worth taking a look at the binned “xtreme edition” card. I actually meant to get that one but didn’t notice it missing from the title until after the order already shipped. Given the aforementioned lousy replacement-only policy I’ve made peace with the possibility of missing out on a bit of a better overclock. This card is absolutely no slouch either and if I look at it with a degree of maturity, it’s unlikely that I’m missing out on a particularly tangible improvement.

Rough idea on what fos u can expect from a few AAA titles

witcher 3 .at 1440p max setting with max hairworks …around 90fps

    Mass effect 80-110fps

    Elite dangerous.. 300 plus fps

Also does suprisingly well for video editing.

And absolutely crushed vr.. i run SS at 1.5 to 2.0 for all games on highest settings and dont drop a single frame. Quite impressive.. it feels like it can handle the next gen of hmd units to come.
