I have had 2 of these for about 3 years without the slightest problem so I ordered another one the other day and I can’t find a single problem with it after much testing. Make sure you order the 7200s and not the 5400s if you want the full performance.

I’ve used these drives in 11 systems over the past three years and had zero problems with any of them.

If you can spare the extra money, I’d suggest getting a SSD too to go along with this HDD. Use the SSD for your OS with a couple important programs that are used on a daily basis. Then use the HDD to storage everything else, such as your applications, games, photos etc.

This was a replacement for a hard drive that went bad in a computer more than 5 years old. The people just needed a computer to surf the internet and $50 did not brake them like a new PC would of.

When it comes to needing a standard 7200RPM HDD there is no other choice for the price but this HDD. I have used these in numerous builds and they are GREAT. Buy one and see for yourself.
